Associate Spotlight Award FAQs

The SOLID Associate Spotlight Award acknowledges the contributions of associates who go above and beyond the everyday scope of their responsibilities or who have particularly excelled in executing a job duty.

Examples of these contributions include:

• Providing exceptional customer service.
• Producing high-quality work under a tight deadline.
• Keeping operations running smoothly.
• Implementing a new system or procedure that saves time or money.
• Fostering camaraderie and collaboration within a department.
• Boosting morale or creating a positive, inclusive work environment.

The SOLID Associate Spotlight Award recipient will be recognized during the monthly All Hands Call. They will also be honored on a dedicated SOLID website landing page along with other Spotlight Award recipients.

All employees of SOLID are encouraged to nominate a colleague by submitting a nomination form, which will be reviewed and approved by the SOLID Brand Cultural Council.

Supervisors and managers may nominate a staff member for a reward; however, employees may not nominate their supervisors. Submit your nomination during the first two weeks of every month.

Additional FAQs

How many associates are eligible each month for the Spotlight Award?

This new pilot program will acknowledge up to 12 associates and/or teams for their contributions to SOLID each year. Every regional office region will have 3-4 submission opportunities each year (12 months/3 regions).

Who is eligible to receive a Spotlight Award?

All full and part-time staff, who have been employed at SOLID for at least one year and who are below the level of department head are eligible to receive a Spotlight Award.

Can teams be nominated for a Spotlight Award?

Yes. Associates who are part of a team may be nominated for a Spotlight Award.

Can a Spotlight Award be provided for an achievement that occurred before January 01, 2021?

No. Only achievements made during 2021 are eligible for a 2021 Spotlight Award.

What is the Spotlight Award cycle?
SOLID Spotlight Awards will be recognized during our monthly All Hands Call. The first Spotlight Award will be recognized at the July 2021 meeting.

Can an associate receive more than one Spotlight Award each year?

No.
