Every benefits-eligible employee must complete enrollment in UKG, even if you want to keep the same benefits or decline coverage.

If you currently have coverage and do nothing, it will end October 31, 2026

What you need to do

Check your ZIP code to see whether the Blue HPN 1-2-3 Plan is available where you live.

  3. Enroll in UKG by October 16

Log in to UKG and review your benefits, dependents and beneficiaries before you submit.

Which 1-2-3 Plan will you see?

Your home ZIP code determines which 1-2-3 Plan appears in UKG.

Commercial Surface Care Essentials

The 4 Essentials of Commercial Surface Care: How to Protect and Maintain Your Facility’s Surfaces

Keeping your commercial facility looking its best takes more than basic cleaning. It requires a comprehensive surface care program designed to protect your investment, create a safe environment, and ensure consistent results across every location. Whether you manage corporate offices, healthcare spaces, retail stores, or educational campuses, choosing the right commercial surface care provider makes a lasting difference.

Here are the four essential elements that set leading surface care partners apart.

1. Single Point of Contact for Simplified Facility Management

One of the most common challenges in facility services is managing multiple vendors. A surface care partner that offers a single point of contact streamlines your communication, service coordination, and accountability.

This reduces delays, eliminates confusion, and ensures a consistent experience across all your commercial locations.

2. Self-Performing Technicians Deliver Consistent Results Nationwide

Unlike providers who outsource work to subcontractors, a self-performing team is directly employed and trained by the service provider. This means you’ll see consistent quality, better accountability, and skilled craftsmanship every time.

With over 500+ technicians covering more than 700 million square feet of commercial surfaces, SOLID Surface Care brings reliability coast to coast.

3. Proactive, Programmed Maintenance Extends Surface Life

Waiting until your surfaces look worn is costly. A proactive maintenance plan schedules cleanings and restorations before issues arise—helping to extend the life of your floors and reduce long-term expenses.

Programmed maintenance minimizes downtime, keeps your spaces ready for use, and preserves the appearance of your brand.

4. Data-Driven Reporting for Transparency and Continuous Improvement

With today’s technology, facility managers need visibility into their service programs. A strong surface care provider delivers detailed reporting on service activity, spend, and performance, helping you make informed decisions.

Regular reporting builds trust and helps justify budgets, showing exactly how your surface care investment protects your facility.

Why Commercial Surface Care Matters

Maintaining your surfaces isn’t just about appearance—it protects your investment, supports a safer environment, and enhances the experience for your staff, visitors, and guests. Choosing a partner that provides self-performing teams, proactive care, and transparent reporting helps you get the most out of your surface care program.

Common Questions About Commercial Surface Care:

  • What should I look for in a commercial surface care provider?

  • How often should my facility schedule surface care services?

  • What’s the difference between programmed maintenance and reactive cleaning?

  • Does a self-performing team make a difference in quality and consistency?
